Future Sound - The Thrills 1.5 EP

Orlando-based, Washington D.C-bred Future Sound (or FTRSND if you’re feeling fresh) releases the mini-sequel to last year’s critically acclaimed The Thrills EP with The Thrills 1.5 EP. Last year we saw a huge stylistic evolution from the formally straightforward east coast slick talking emcee into this new smoothed out and suave persona aiming directly for the subconscious. 1.5 continues this progression as it manifests itself into more than Future’s own music. Tracks featured include remixes of Thrills tracks by James Blow, a preview of Future’s next single “Sarah” featuring Zreysound, a chopped and screwed version of Yuna’s “Live Your Life”, and a surprise inclusion of the mysterious Nikkolaus Kopernikus’ “D R U G S”.

UPDATE: FTRSND has postponed the intended summer release of his next project Wine Talk, but has revealed a new 4-track EP in the works to be out by the end of summer 2012.

Due to licensing, copyright, and non-disclosure agreements not meeting the anticipated release date, Wine Talk is postponed until further notice. This situation is being resolved via KC.93 Records & Radio and will be done promptly. We apologize for the inconvenience.

FTRSND has been branching out extensively and will be performing this fall with our friends XXYYXX & Peter Baldwin. As well as a new project with a 4 song EP to be released and potentially pressed by the end of this summer. More details on both of these as they come.
